Presentation and Objectives
ARFDM
gather physicians and jurists involved in medical law. They gather information for databases and benefit of their use.Purposes of the ARFDM
- Enhance research in medical law at a national and international level
- Analyze law decisions
- Create databases on medical law and jurisprudence
- Organize tutoring or training in medical responsibility and law

- Fund raising for research pojects and various achievements and goals
- Supply of computer applications, databases setting
- Supply studies on jurisprudence
Activities
- Since 1996,a Medical Law Seminar,with all presentations published by "Les Editions Hospitalières",and since 2007,accessible on-line, through the Virtual French Medcal University Canal U.
- Since 2006,the European Summer University who take place every year in Toulouse (France) and in a partner european university .During these events it is also organised a Young researcher FORUM who allow young researchers,less 35, to present their personal researches.
- Each year the presentations are grouped in a book published by "Les Etudes Hospitalières" accessible through the BNDS website ( Health law and medical ethics digital library) under the collections section séminaires d'actualité de droit médical
- ARFDM has organized in 2006 ,the 16th WORLD CONGRESS on MEDICAL LAW
